The Day I Interrupted Democrat Propaganda

January 30th, 2024 Frontline released their premiere documentary of the year: ‘Democracy on Trial’.

This documentary was supposed to be a Democrat victory lap in film form: A glorification of the Kabuki Theater known as the January 6th committee.

Unfortunately for the Democrats and the January 6th committee, a political comedian was listening to them saying the quiet part out loud:

If you found out the Watergate hearings were produced for television by an ABC producer, would you think of that event differently?

This was the quandary this clip presented to many leftists: Were you being manipulated by the media to believe a version of events that would benefit the Democrats?

Learning the facts is compelling. Facts do not need to be presented in a compelling manner. Lies need to be presented in a compelling manner, in order to believed. This is why Adam Kinzinger and the January 6th committee felt they needed to bring in the former president of ABC News, Andrew Goldston.

By controlling the media apparatus, the Democrats are in control of the narrative. When the Democrats control the narrative, there is nothing more effective than using their words against them.

This by no means is meant to disparage the documentarians and the team at Frontline. In fact, their dedication to revealing the process of the January 6th committee is how we are able to witness this gem of a clip.

The job of the documentarian is to observe, capture. Capturing a moment like this provides a documentarian two options:

1. Edit and omit this portion, because it reflects poorly on the subject.

2. Leave in this portion, because it reflects poorly on the subject, and that is honest filmmaking.

The Frontline documentarians chose the latter. I firmly believe they left this Easter egg within this film for a keen ear to find.

Just like in the ‘Wizard of Oz’: Once the public is aware of the men behind the curtain, manipulating the media, you can never see the world the same again.
