Bill Maher is on a book tour to promote ‘What This Comedian Said Will Shock You’. He stopped by Megyn Kelly, and got the attention he was seeking:

Within both of these clips, I added a clip to prove Megyn Kelly’s point.

-The Hillary Clinton clip I edited in her saying the ‘exact words’ ‘Illegitimate President’, + a clip of her claiming the election was stolen from her.

-The January 6th clip I edited in a news report stating that Brian Sicknick died of natural causes.

Megyn Kelly would not edit in clips to make her guest Bill Maher to look like a fool. That’s my work.

A surprising amount of ‘News publications’ incorrectly reported that Megyn Kelly edited in the clips.

Regardless, the clips went mega-viral. The juxtaposition of Bill Maher’s confidence with the reality of how wrong he was on those two subjects proved to be a popular piece of content.

Bill Maher out of the mainstream media TV hosts is the one most committed to providing a platform for conservatives and liberals to debate political issues. Commendable.

But Bill rarely brings on conservatives with substance. He brings on conservatives in name (Never Trumpers) but rarely invites MAGA firebrands outside of Kellyanne Conway.

Bill when challenged by a substantive conservative struggled to debate the facts with Megyn Kelly.

The media loudly lies and quietly retracts. Bill Maher repeated the loud lies, while Megyn Kelly repeated the quiet retractions.

Maher has earned the utmost respect as a political comedian, which is why I struggle with the choices in front of me: Is Bill Maher blindly repeating media lies? Or is Bill part of the chorus creating and chanting these lies?

Either way, I give Maher credit for going into ‘enemy territory’ to promote his book. He definitely garnered attention. Was it the attention he was craving?
