Did you hear the seismic shift in rhetoric this morning?
Kristen Welker: “Something that’s getting a lot of attention: Efforts to prevent noncitizens from voting. We should note that it’s exceedingly rare, yet some officials believe it’s an urgent manner”
The standard media narrative has always been that noncitizen voting is nonexistent within our election systems. Finally, a crack emerges a la Meet the Press’ Kristen Welker.
To admit ‘exceedingly rare’ from ‘nonexistent’ is a change in rhetoric that must be documented. You can easily see the slippery slope:
-Noncitizens voting is nonexistent, and a conspiracy theory
-Noncitizens voting is exceedingly rare.
-Noncitizens voting is happening less than Republicans would let on. They’re just complaining about losing the last election.
-Noncitizens voting are necessary to defeat the enemy. (Republicans) If you complain, you’re racist.
For those who are skeptical about the logistical ability of a noncitizen to vote in all elections (including federal), I direct you to The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996. Which states the following:
(a) It shall be unlawful for any alien to vote in any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, unless
(1) the election is held partly for some other purpose;
(2) aliens are authorized to vote for such other purpose under a State constitution or statute or a local ordinance; and
(3) voting for such other purpose is conducted independently of voting for a candidate for such Federal offices, in such a manner that an alien has the opportunity to vote for such other purpose, but not an opportunity to vote for a candidate for any one or more of such Federal offices.
(c) Subsection (a) does not apply to an alien if—
(1) each natural parent of the alien (or, in the case of an adopted alien, each adoptive parent of the alien) is or was a citizen (whether by birth or naturalization);
(2) the alien permanently resided in the United States prior to attaining the age of 16; and
(3) the alien reasonably believed at the time of voting in violation of such subsection that he or she was a citizen of the United States.
Let’s review the loopholes / issues with this ’96 act:
Subsection c, 3: ‘The alien reasonably believed at the time of voting that he or she was a citizen of the United States.”
Have you ever heard of a loophole so large for a crime of this importance? If you are caught voting as a noncitizen, you could be deported. Unless, you thought you were a citizen. Quite possibly the easiest way to get out of a serious crime you could think of.
Why should noncitizens be allowed to vote in state or local elections? This seems like a convoluted circumstance that would only lead to more fraud.
Only 7 states prohibit noncitizen voting.
San Francisco allows noncitizens not only to vote, but they can be part of the elections commission.
You can see the slippery slope again:
-Only certain areas allow noncitizens to run the elections
-All of America allows noncitizens to vote in elections
-A noncitizen can take away your right to vote if you don’t stay up to date with your experimental injections.
In American History of Voter Fraud, we review how Obama’s motor voter laws led to DMV errors incorrectly granting the same voting status as a citizen. Batches of 100k+ immigrants multiple times, according to the California DMV. Colorado DMV recently had a similar set of errors to the tune of 30k.
Why are they admitting to noncitizen voting now? They need to prime the audience, for when noncitizens are found to have voted in the 2024 presidential election.
